Natural Remedy for Allergies

With spring here are you worried about your allergies? According to the AAFA about 50 million people suffer with allergies. Nasal allergies affect about 35 million Americans of which 6 million are children. The cost of Allergies in the US alone are $10 billion.

The symptoms for allergies are :
  • sneezing
  • blocked and/or runny nose
  • itchy, red, swollen, watery eyes
  • headaches (sometimes)
(In severe cases seek immediate medical assistance)

Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is an old folk remedy since the Roman times for many illnesses.

For Allergies:

Mix 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar in a glass of water (250ml) and gulp the mixture at once. Use it 2-3 times a day. Improvement occurs immediately or in 1-3 hours. If you have been experiencing allergies for several days, your symptoms will diminish after about one day. If you don't notice any ease of your allergies after 2-3 days, stop taking the remedy. For long term use I recommend 2 teaspoons of Apple Cider Vinegar in 500 ml water and sipping during the day.

If you a problem with the taste of ACV then try the following:

  • add 1 tsp honey to the mixture
  • mix ACV in apple juice instead of water
  • mix ACV in herbal tea
A bottle of ACV will cost you less than $6 available at any supermarket. It has a very long shelf life, and can be used for many remedies.
