Anger
While a man was polishing his new car,
his 4 yr old son picked up a stone
and scratched lines on the side of the car.
he was using a wrench.
At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures.
When the child saw his father..... with painful eyes he asked, 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?' The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times.
Devastated by his own actions..... . sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches; the child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'.
Anger and Love have no limits; choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely
life & remember this: Things are to be used and people are to be loved.
The problem in today's world is that people are used while things are loved.
Let's try always to keep this thought in mind: Things are to be used,
People are to be loved.
Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character;
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

6 Surefire Ways to Beat the Heat Naturally
1. Homemade Slush.
I came across a grape slush recipe which I tried, and my kids loved it!!!
3 cups grape dark grape juice
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pour the grape juice into a medium saucepan. Add the sugar and stir to mix. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium and cook for 6 to 8 minutes, or until reduced to 2 cups . Stir in the vanilla.Pour into a 9" or 10" freezer proof glass pie plate and set aside to cool.
Place in the freezer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours , or until the edges are mostly solid and the middle is still liquid . Mash with a fork to break up any large crystals.
Return to the freezer for 1 hour , or until frozen through but not hard. Break up the crystals with a fork before serving. Makes 4 servings.
Note: After the second freezing , the slush can be stored in a covered container for up to a day before serving. Remove from the freezer and let stand at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving.
2. Iced Herbal Teas
Make the tea as directed and let it chill over night in the refrigerator. To sweeten add honey or sugar. Serve with ice. My kids over came their craving for the unnatural , unhealthy, HFCS filled , colored drinks and juices.
My kids and I prefer Red Raspberry Leaf Organic Tea.
3. Homemade Snow Cones
4. Homemade Lemonade or Limeade
Nothing beats fresh lemonade.Get an affordable citrus juicer if you don't have one, and start juicing. If you prefer pink lemonade, add some grape juice for color.
5. Chilled Oranges
Keep oranges in the refrigerator. Just slice and serve. Kids (and adults) will love the cool, juicy oranges in the hot days.
6. Homemade Ice Pops
I tried getting my kids to eat the healthy ice pops from the grocery store , but the taste wasn't "kid-friendly", plus they were over priced. We decided to make our own.All I needed was bpa free ice pop makers , juice, and a place in the freezer. My kids loved it, and now they make their own .

How Early Puberty is Linked to Growth Hormones
When I was 11 years old I got my periods. Two of my sisters got them when they were 9.My mom got them when she was 14. In the mid 1800's the average age for menarche (first menstrual period )was 17. Today, more young girls are showing signs of puberty as early as 7 or 8 and beginning to menstruate two to three years later. Why?
Could it be because of more toxins going into our bodies through artificial ingredients in our foods, like high fructose corn syrup,GMO foods, hydrolyzed vegetable protein (AKA MSG) and others (which can't even be pronounced without the help of a certified chemist?!!!!!
Here are some other possible causes:
Note to parents: because early puberty can be caused by some serious conditions, including certain types of brain tumors and thyroid diseases, it is important to consult a doctor if you are concerned about your daughter's development, especially if you have no family history of early puberty.
Did you know that girls who experience precocious puberty are at a higher risk of :
How can the chances be reduced?
We can help our daughters and ourselves buy going naturally, because did you know that pesticides can also bring on early menopause?

Note to parents: because early puberty can be caused by some serious conditions, including certain types of brain tumors and thyroid diseases, it is important to consult a doctor if you are concerned about your daughter's development, especially if you have no family history of early puberty.
- Genetic factors. If a girl's mother, sisters, and other female relatives experienced early puberty, the chances are very strong she will too.
- Obesity. As the rate of childhood obesity has exploded, so has the rate of precocious puberty. This is one of the most widely accepted theories about the rise in early puberty rates. Estrogen and leptin, two important hormones in puberty, are produced by fat cells, and many researchers believe puberty in girls is triggered when the body reaches a certain percentage of fat, in combination with other factors. This is one reason many competitive youth athletes experience later puberty than their peers.
- Xenoestrogens. Xenoestrogens are man-made compounds that mimic the behavior of natural estrogen in the body. They occur in everything from plastic baby bottles and food storage containers to shampoo, cosmetics, and sunscreen to pesticides and insecticides used in residential and agricultural pest control to growth hormones fed to the animals that produce our meat, milk and eggs to the water we bathe in. Some shampoos targeted at the African-American community even advertise their estrogen content. Many scientists believe xenoestrogens are a major contributing factor to the epidemic of precocious puberty; others believe they are only minor contributors.
- Soy-based infant formula. Soy has one of the highest concentrations of phytoestrogens, which are naturally occurring plant estrogens. In adults, phytoestrogens are generally considered neutral or even beneficial, especially from dietary sources. However, some researchers feel that the concentration of phytoestrogen in soy infant formulas may reach dangerous levels because these formulas are the only or primary source of nourishment for so long. These researchers claim that infants fed soy formula receive the estrogen equivalent of five birth control pills per day (based on body weight). About 25% of infants in the United States are fed soy-based formulas.
- Sexualized television and media. In one controversial theory, some researchers claim that exposure to sexualized media may be contributing to the increase in cases of early puberty. It is clear that visual stimuli affect the brain and body chemistry. For example, a photograph of a delicious looking meal causes people to salivate. However, the degree to which media depictions of sex could affect brain and body chemistry is still extremely uncertain and highly controversial.
Did you know that girls who experience precocious puberty are at a higher risk of :
- Cancer. The earlier the age of first menarche, the greater a girl's risk of developing several types of cancer, particularly breast cancer, due mainly to greater lifetime exposure to the hormone estrogen.
- Menstrual and fertility problems. Increased lifetime exposure to estrogen is also associated with an increased risk of problems such as PMS, menstrual cramps, uterine fibroids, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, fibrocystic breasts, and more.
- Stunted growth. Early puberty is often associated with advanced skeletal age, meaning that a 6 year old girl might have the bone structure of an 8 or 9 year old. Although they might initially be taller than slower-developing girls, girls who experience precocious puberty are likely to end up shorter, because after the initial growth spurt or spurts, puberty triggers the body to stop growing up and start filling out. Slower developing girls have more time to grow tall than the average girl who experiences precocious puberty.
- Lesser brain development. Unfortunately, puberty also slows and eventually triggers the end of brain development. Again, this gives girls who experience early onset puberty less time to develop to their full physical potential before growth ceases.
- Depression, anxiety, and stress. Being different is hard on both early and late developers, and combined with the mood swings associated with puberty, many girls who experience precocious puberty also have problems coping and may need extra emotional support from parents, teachers, and other trusted adults.
- Sexual harassment. Sexual harassment of schoolchildren by other schoolchildren is a growing problem in the United States, and early developing girls are often targeted earlier and more frequently than other students, which can exacerbate depression, anxiety, and other mental problems.
- Sexual precocity. Girls with precocious puberty are often treated as sexual beings earlier than other girls and may be targeted more by older boys and even adult men than slower developing girls. They also have to deal earlier with their own sexual feelings. Girls who experience early puberty may be more likely to engage in early sexual activity, increasing their risk of teenage pregnancy or STDs.
How can the chances be reduced?
- Go organic!!! If you are on a tight budget, start off with milk, peanut butter, butter, eggs.
- Buy local fruits and vegetables.Especially corn and other GMO foods.
- Limit milk consumption. According to a new research , due to the combination of natural and synthetic hormones found in milk, it is best to limit the intake of milk in girls at risk for early puberty.Organic milk is safer than conventional milk because it does not contain synthetic growth hormones, and fermented dairy products such as yogurt and cheese are believed to be safer than plain milk.
- Monitor television and media consumption.
Even though, this is the most controversial possible cause of early puberty. - Detoxify your body naturally. There are many natural drinks and pills in the market, but I prefer the old way ( which is also cheaper).2 TBLSP of organic ACV in a 1 or 2 Liter filtered water bottle (ie Smart Water, Evian, etc). You can add more vinegar than this amount, however, make sure you dilute it with plenty of water. Do not add a sweetener. Drink this solution throughout the day. The solution will be cleansing your system and kidneys all day long.
- Limit junk food.
- Eat a healthy , well balanced diet.
- Exercise!!!

Natural Energy Boost Tonic
As a mother of 5 kids, I am always in need of energy. When I saw the ad for Red Bull for the first time, I thought, just what I need to keep up with my kids!
So, I started doing some research on it, and this is what I found:
So, I started doing some research on it, and this is what I found:
- Research at the Cardiovascular Research Center at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Adelaide University has revealed shocking similarities between the cardiovascular profiles of heart patients and students who drink Red Bull.
- A 250ml can of Red Bull can thicken blood and make it more prone to clotting.
- Red Bull cans bear the warning that it should not be consumed by children, diabetics, pregnant women, and those sensitive to caffeine.
- The combination of Red Bull and Vodka, extremely popular in pubs, is lethal and can have terrible effects on the heart.
- B-vitamins do boost energy, but too high a dose can kill.
- So far, no study has been done to determine the actual effects of glucuronolactone and taurine on the human body.
- Suspected to have caused deaths and severe health issues, Red Bull has been banned in many countries such as Norway, Germany, and others.
- Those who drink too much of it might get addicted to it and suffer from cardiac disorders.
It definitely is not a healthy drink , so I found an alternate that works for me:
1-2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar in a glass of water or any other beverage 1-3 times a day.
Why is this better than coffee?
Coffee and sugar can give you a boost of energy, but you will also have to deal with the ups and downs, and could also mess up your sleeping routine.

Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is an old folk remedy since the Roman times for many illnesses.
For Allergies:
Mix 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar in a glass of water (250ml) and gulp the mixture at once. Use it 2-3 times a day. Improvement occurs immediately or in 1-3 hours. If you have been experiencing allergies for several days, your symptoms will diminish after about one day. If you don't notice any ease of your allergies after 2-3 days, stop taking the remedy. For long term use I recommend 2 teaspoons of Apple Cider Vinegar in 500 ml water and sipping during the day.

Dilemma - How to find modest clothing at modest prices!
Have you ever sat on the computer for a couple hours , surfing the internet , trying to find affordable modest clothing? Can't find the long ankle length skirt without it being overpriced? Or the tunic you can afford without having to run to the store , dragging your kids along , to find that the item has been sold out?
Well, I have, and those couple of hours are very precious especially if you have 5 kids. I am trying to put together a site where you can find modest clothing in one stop, rather than surfing many sites, running to the mall, and your kids clinging on to you and begging you to go home. If you simply like any of the items, simply click on the link and you will be directed to the store that sells it. Please feel free to leave your comments!!
